With decades of experience and long-standing relationships across southeastern Wisconsin, we’ve helped numerous congregations build for the future: honoring their heritage while creating fresh new environments in which to grow.

Client Showcase:

Berghammer has proudly served as the construction manager for Lumen Christi Catholic Parish and School since the 1990s, when the parish was originally known as St. James. In the late 1990s, two parishes merged to form Lumen Christi, and Berghammer completed one of the first major projects—constructing a new narthex and connector between the church and school.

Over the years, as the parish consolidated to the Mequon location and continued to grow, Berghammer remained their building partner through multiple phases of expansion and renovation:

• Phase 1 included a major school addition and new gymnasium, along with a transformation of the original gym into two levels: a large upper-level meeting and event space, and a lower level housing parish and school offices.
• Phase 2 focused on the expansion and renovation of the church itself, enhancing the worship environment for the growing congregation.
• In the most recent phase, Berghammer constructed a new cafetorium, added classrooms for 3K programming, and completed additional school renovations.
