Balcan Plastics

The original 225,000 SF structure was completed by Berghammer in 2002 as an adhesive manufacturing plant, built to extreme fire-life-safety standards, featuring an interior maximum foreseeable loss wall, ESFR sprinkler systems, complete building grounding and lightening protection, and N+1 power. Materials throughout were selected for their long-term safety value.

In 2021, for a new tenant, Balcan Plastics, considerable interior demolition and adaptation to the structure were completed to accommodate Balcan’s extrusion and printing operations, including significant modification to the 4-story process tower and substantial foundation and footer installations for the printing processes.
