Balcan Plastics Expansion

This 15,190 SF, six-story expansion, completed in 2026, supports the installation of new high-performance equipment and furthers Balcan’s investment in polyethylene film and packaging production.

The original 225,000 SF facility was completed by Berghammer in 2002 as an adhesive manufacturing plant. In 2021, for the new tenant, Balcan Innovations, extensive interior demolition and modifications were completed to accommodate extrusion and printing operations, including significant changes to the four-story process tower.

Balcan retained Berghammer to lead the design-build process for this addition based on its proven experience coordinating equipment layouts with multiple foreign equipment suppliers.
