The owner of this office building decided to renovate it as a ‘green’ building, and turned to Berghammer to coordinate the project. Berghammer worked closely with the owners and subcontractors to identify and incorporate sustainable products and methods, including a drip irrigation system and thermal performance-enhancing roof insulation. The first LEED-CS certified building in Wisconsin, 245 Plaza earned an honorable mention in the Wisconsin Sustainability & Energy Efficiency Awards (SE2).
