We recently completed a 9,686-square-foot expansion for Faithbridge Church in Franksville, Wisconsin. The main goals for the project were to provide much-needed space for their growing youth ministry program and to consolidate their childcare program from two locations to this location. The project included a new entrance, collaboration spaces, a kitchenette, offices, classrooms, two additional restrooms, and a youth space with a stage and playground area.
We were brought in early on the project to help control the budget and offer constructability guidance. To achieve this, we carefully sourced budget-friendly materials without compromising the modern look the church was aiming for to attract a younger demographic. We worked closely with Plunkett Raysich Architects, LLP to achieve this goal.
In addition to managing a large construction project, the church underwent several organizational transitions. We tailored our approach to make it easy for our Faithbridge so they could focus on managing their transitions while having confidence that the project execution was meeting schedule and budget expectations. Our team also maintained a separation between the construction areas and the church while the church remained open so that they could continue operating during construction.
In addition, we also ensured that everything was completed on time so that they could open their Childcare Learning Center early enough for parents to enroll their children before school started back up again after the summer break.
The end results? The added space was turned over on schedule and within budget and now has all the space it needs for its growing congregation!
