Olds Products
Olds Products was founded in Chicago in 1912 and is the largest private label mustard manufacturer in the country. The Pleasant Prairie facility was originally constructed in 1995 and then expanded in 2013.
In 2018, a South Addition (105,588 SF) created additional warehousing and shipping/receiving, while an East Addition (26,871 SF) provides flexible production space. Construction included mass grading, site utilities, concrete foundations, exposed aggregate precast to match existing, structural steel, roofing, and the addition of 20 loading dock bays.
Mount Pleasant Business Center
This project involved the construction of a 204,594 SF warehouse with a 32-foot clear height and nineteen loading dock positions, which can be divided into three separate tenants. The project entailed major mass grading, two retention ponds, 500 LF of retaining wall system along the entire east property line, and site utilities serving the building. It also includes a 3,000 SF office buildout at the NE corner of the building.
Hillwood Grandview 3 and 4
Two 193,740 SF industrial buildings at Grandview Business Park, just west of Interstate 94 and south of Washington Avenue (Highway 20).

Briggs & Stratton – World Headquarters
This project combines an office renovation and façade upgrade for the corporate headquarters location. Renovations consist of lobby, auditorium, cafeteria and food services, offices, conference rooms, and common space areas.
Briggs & Stratton – Emissions Testing Lab
In order to meet demand and adhere to new testing regulations for the manufacturing of new engine products, Briggs & Stratton hired Berghammer Construction to expand its testing capabilities with a new facility. This project consisted of building the engine emissions testing facility within an existing plant. In addition to the challenges of construction within the confines of the existing plant, acoustical and fire-rated walls and ceiling systems were needed for maximum cost efficiency within a stringent budget.
Briggs & Stratton – Standby Group Office Expansion
Briggs & Stratton required a 19,526 square foot reuse/build-out from former factory floor to office space for an expansion of their Standby Group (power generator) division.
New Balance
The New Balance store in Brookfield was renovated to create a fresh, modern look.
Charter Cable – Sports News Studio
This project was a 2,300 square foot renovation of an existing office space to create a cable news studio. The studio was created to minimize noise concerns to allow for live broadcasting. The project included office space, conference room, a break area, guest waiting, collaboration spaces, broadband server room, and storage for news-gathering equipment.
Charter Communications – Call Center
Complete interior demolition and renovations of office and call center areas, including finishes to bathrooms and break room areas.
El Rey
Special Projects renovation of the El Rey Grocery Store to enhance both interior and exterior spaces. The project involved enclosing the existing canopy area to create a dedicated pharmacy and retail space. Additional improvements included enclosing the exterior canopy walkway and reconfiguring the store’s interior layout to introduce a new vestibule, cart return area, special events booth, customer service area, and pharmacy.
