After digging out and dewatering the jobsite from historic-level flooding, The Conservancy for Healing and Heritage’s new Welcome Center is under construction. The Berghammer team recently finished the concrete footings and foundations for the building, where our team had to form and pour a multi-stepped foundation on a steeply sloped hillside. Some of the walls reached heights of more than 14 feet. Due to the small footprint of the jobsite and the steep hill, our team had to coordinate and pour the foundation in multiple phases to complete the scope of work safely and efficiently.
