Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS)

Berghammer’s Special Projects Division has assisted the HAWS team with multiple facility improvement projects.

Office Renovation: Multi-phase finish updates to six offices, including paint, flooring, ceiling tiles, and LED lighting. Two offices were reconfigured to create additional private workspaces. Public restrooms were updated with new fixtures, lighting, stalls, and ceramic tile. The renovation added storage and improved functionality for staff.

Meeting Room Flooring: Installed new interlocking rubber flooring in the multi-purpose room used for pet training classes and youth programs. The durable, non-absorbent flooring provides a safe, resilient surface for both pets and children.

Pet Kitchen Update: Renovation of the pet food preparation kitchen with new stainless-steel countertops, a three-compartment sink, shelving, and a refrigerator, along with a refreshed color palette. The upgrades improved storage, durability, and efficiency for daily food preparation and cleaning.
