Berghammer joined HKS Holdings, City of Sheboygan officials, project partners, and community leaders this week to celebrate the groundbreaking of Riverview District, a new residential development of 280+ apartment homes on Sheboygan’s riverfront.
While groundbreaking marks the official start of construction, the work to make Riverview District a reality began long before shovels entered the ground. Berghammer engaged early with HKS Holdings during the planning and preconstruction phases, working with the City of Sheboygan, the design team, engineering and trade partners, and the ownership team to help establish project budgets, evaluate constructability, and prepare the project for success.
“Projects like this can take years of planning and effort,” said Tiffany May, Executive Vice President/Principal at Berghammer Construction, during the groundbreaking ceremony. “We’re grateful that HKS Holdings brought Berghammer into the project early, allowing us to work alongside the entire project team to establish a strong foundation for successful construction. Today, we celebrate not only the construction ahead, but also the spirit of collaboration and partnership that has brought us here.”
