Congratulations to the Mount Pleasant Business Center project team (Jim Parks, John Pszonak, Abigail (Abby) Verzal, and Mike Haasch)! The building is complete, and it looks amazing! We invite you to look at the finished product in the attached photos.
Located in Mount Pleasant, WI, this design/build project was delivered for our client, Endeavor Development, and adds 204,638 square feet of distribution/warehouse space for lease to the market. It can also be subdivided to accommodate multiple tenants if needed.
To maintain the targeted occupancy date for this project, some highlights of our unique construction approach included:
• Guiding our client and the project architect through the local and state approval process because neither had developed a project in southeastern Wisconsin before
• Developing an accurate overall project budget early in the process that our client could confidently use to secure project financing
• Pursuing early procurement of the structural steel, precast, and roofing insulation for the building due to long lead times and volatile price conditions prevalent in the market at the time
• Modifying our construction sequencing by installing the concrete truck apron at the dock area of the building much earlier in the schedule so that the surface could be utilized to store and stage the roof insulation that would be arriving at the site earlier than normal
In conclusion, we are incredibly proud of our team’s hard work and dedication in successfully completing this remarkable project!
