Bray Associates Architects New Offices
Bray Associates Architects, Inc.
Bray’s new Walker’s Point neighborhood space is an adaptive re-use of a manufacturing building built in 1919. The project “combines existing historic elements with an open and highly collaborative sensibility.” Its current iteration honors Milwaukee’s industrial past, complete with cream city brick, steel roof trusses, and polished concrete floors. Bray’s design team incorporated several nods to their firm’s long history in education, such as walls created from salvaged bleacher boards and old gym flooring incorporated into several ceiling areas.
