Berghammer Announces New Executive Team

Jim Parks and Kevin White

Berghammer Construction rings in the new year with some exciting changes to its Executive Team. CEO Leif Nesheim is proud to announce the promotions of Jim Parks to President and Kevin White to Executive Vice President. Jim and Kevin are shareholders and members of the Executive Management Team. Both have been instrumental in positioning Berghammer Construction for future success.

Jim has been serving for 17 years as Executive Vice President, which prepared him for this promotion. Jim applies his experience in the construction industry to successfully manage all aspects of project delivery with a focus on pre-construction services. He routinely assists clients with project feasibility analysis and personally oversees Berghammer’s pre-construction, conceptual estimating and preliminary budgeting processes, as well as marketing. He practiced real estate, bankruptcy and corporate law, and commercial litigation preceding his involvement in the construction industry.

Kevin initially spent ten years at Berghammer, rising from Intern to Project Engineer and Senior Project Manager, followed by a decade in the capacity of Vice President of Construction for a leading real estate development firm where he led the construction division. Kevin returned to Berghammer in 2015 as a Partner, bringing a fresh perspective and added capabilities as a recognized expert in multifamily and mixed-use developments.

Leif will assume the position of CEO to assist Jim and Kevin as they transition into their new roles.

Since its inception 85 years ago, and today based in Butler, Wisconsin, Berghammer Construction has established a sterling reputation throughout Southeastern Wisconsin as a general contractor with The Right People, The Right Size and The Right Expertise for a wide range of commercial building projects.

Bray Associates Architects New Offices

Bray Associates Architects, Inc.

Bray’s new Walker’s Point neighborhood space is an adaptive re-use of a manufacturing building built in 1919. The project “combines existing historic elements with an open and highly collaborative sensibility.” Its current iteration honors Milwaukee’s industrial past, complete with cream city brick, steel roof trusses, and polished concrete floors. Bray’s design team incorporated several nods to their firm’s long history in education, such as walls created from salvaged bleacher boards and old gym flooring incorporated into several ceiling areas.
