As your construction partner, Berghammer is committed to utilizing the latest technology available in the marketplace to provide accuracy, improve communication, and create efficiencies in the delivery of construction services to our clients.
As a leader in preconstruction services, Berghammer has integrated the following technology platforms:
Budgeting
| We utilize On-Screen Takeoff and MC2 for budgeting and estimating purposes. The entire process is computer based so that information can be shared electronically with all team partners. This streamlines the process as we assess proposed scope changes on the project as the design documents evolve. With On-Screen Takeoff, we will provide very accurate and specific budget information to you based upon the concept drawings provided by architect. Our budget estimate will be accompanied by color coded drawings that clearly communicate the areas to be affected by the work and that specify the location, quantity and type of materials to be utilized. This system allows Berghammer to improve communication about the project scope so that our clients’ expectations are in alignment with the work that will be put into place during the construction phase. This communication tool creates efficiencies for our architectural partners as well because our On-Screen Takeoff drawings serve as a clear roadmap for the development of the finish schedules for the project. |

Web Based Plan Distribution
iSqFt is a web based plan distribution system used to disseminate plans and specifications to the subcontracting community. It allows us to cast a wide net in the subcontracting community, increasing the level of competition on the project. This translates into a lower cost for our clients. Distributing plans through iSqFt also significantly reduces reproduction costs for the project.
Project Management
We use Viewpoint Construction Software to document project activity. Viewpoint stores all project information including, meeting minutes, requests for information, submittals, and punchlist items. This allows for information to be easily organized, tracked and recorded.
Scheduling
We use Microsoft Office Project scheduling software to monitor and manage the progression of work on the jobsite. A master schedule is generated at the beginning of the project, and updated weekly to reflect actual progress.
Open Book Approach
All project costing is shared with our clients on an Open Book basis. Bids from subcontractors will be assembled and organized by work divisions into a Bid Book as back up for the total project costs.
Our integration of these technology platforms into a seamless construction delivery process enhances communication among all team members through a real time exchange of critical project information from the conceptual design phase through project closeout.
